phuR is a simple little program to retrieve your account data from Rapidshare DOT com.
It supports both premium and collector's accounts (since version 1.2.0.0).

p.s. phuR is pronounced like "fewer".

Comments and suggestions both welcome here.

thanks for this looks interesting, i have a couple of questions...

1. does it use the https protocol when making the API calls to get the file info

2. how are you dealing with the API penalty points system, because the getaccountdetails API is a huge hit in the penalty points if getting all the data like you are (i have a very full account and dont want to get an IP block !)

Hi Gunslinger !

1. The current implementation of phuR works just like an "automated browser". So all of its requests look like you would use the premium (or collectors) account web site yourself.
It uses HTTPS to secure the single requests.

2. The current implementation does not use the API in any way. So penalty points are no issue yet.
I'm working on some test implementation using the API to add more functions like uploading and file management. In this implementation avoiding penalty points will be a major issue.

Sorry for the late reply.
If you have further questions, just leave another comment.

Bye for now.

Thanks phumatic for a great program. Unfortunately, it stopped working on June 29, 2010, when rapidshare changed their system. First window comes up, fetch data runs but no iterations. "Show data" shows then nothing. Can you please update it?

Thank you very much!

Hi phumatic.
Do you plan on upgrading phuR for the changes RS did today?
